Westwood played Harris Middle and battled to a hard-fought 1-1 tie.

Coach Kevin Smith stated that he chose to play Harris in an out-of-conference game because they have been a great middle school soccer team for a very long time. Unable to find other schools to play, Harris became an option, and Coach Smith said it can only help, win or lose. He added that Harris has twice as many kids as Westwood, but the Rockets came to play.

Joan Deanda took a corner in which 7th Grader Aaron Jaimes scored for Westwood.

In the JV match ended, Westwood defeated Harris 2-1. Juan Gonzalez scored the first goal after an assist by Alwin Cano. The Rockets got their winning goal from Aaron Jamies as he was assisted by Greyson Goff.

March 27

The JV played a 30-minute match, but the Rockets planted 8 goals in the net.
