Wildcats Fall to Spring Hill in 8-3A First Round

The Tullahoma Wildcats season ended Tuesday night as they were clipped at the buzzer by Spring Hill in the first round of the District 8-3A tournament.

Down double digits midway through the first and early in the second half the Wildcats battled back to tie the game at 37 heading to the fourth and held the lead several times throughout the final period as Spring Hill struggled with turnovers in the second half. However, Kai’seanne Brashear, who had a monster night tallying 40 points, hit a three to tie the game in the closing minutes and came up with a steal and drew a foul with 1.5 seconds left and hit his 13th and 14th free throws of the night to give the Raiders thew lead. Tullahoma’s half court heave at the horn was just short giving Spring Hill the 58-56 win.

Tullahoma was led in scoring by Jaiden Sanchez with 16 points, DeAndrea Jenkins added 10. The Wildcats end the season 8-19.

The Lady Cats open the postseason in the district semifinals vs Lawrence County Friday night at 6:30 in Lawrenceburg LIVE on 93.9 The Duck!

Will Rabb

Will is a Middle Tennessee native having been born and raised in Winchester. His love of radio began as a child listening to local stations on the way to school or while falling asleep at night. After High School, where he was active in student media, he attended the University of Tennessee majoring in Journalism and Electronic Media while covering sports for the campus radio station. He then moved into the business professionally as a board op/producer for Cumulus of Knoxville and the Vol Network. His radio journey then took him to Louisiana where he was the lead producer for ESPN New Orleans. After returning home to Winchester, he spent several years broadcasting local sports for stations in Franklin County before joining the Bowman Family. When he’s not at the station, Will enjoys spending time with his wife Shaina and his two fur babies (Toulouse and Belle), cheering on the Vols, Preds and Saints and in the kitchen or behind the grill trying out new recipes.
