Armed Man Charged after Three Law Enforcement Agencies Respond

On Tuesday night, April 29, the Grundy County Sheriff’s Office, the Tracy City Police Department, and the Marion County SWAT Team responded to an armed individual who was inside a residence and refusing to comply with law enforcement.

An arrest warrant was obtained, and 53-year-old Thomas Conry was charged with Aggravated Assault.

Team members secured the residence and utilized less-than-lethal weapons to separate Conry from his firearms. He was taken into custody without serious injuries to the individual or law enforcement.
