Unemployment Rate Drops in 90 of 95 Counties

Ninety counties Tennessee experienced lower unemployment during the month of February. Four counties recorded an increase in unemployment, while Smith County remained unchanged. Unemployment Rate Down in Area Counties

Most of Tennessee’s 95 counties started 2021 with lower unemployment numbers, according to data released by the Department of Labor and Workforce Development. Seventy-eight counties went down. Murfreesboro Business President Arrested for Theft, False Tax Returns and Money Laundering

The Special Investigations Section of the Tennessee Department of Revenue conducted the investigation that led to the indictment and arrest of Carlos Ramirez, president of Carmen’s Taqueria in Murfreesboro.
