The VFW Post 10904 in Manchester will host an Awards Night for students and teachers on Monday, Feb 12.
The teacher was selected as the top teacher from the nominations they received.
The Patriots Pen essay competition is for middle school students. VFW National picks a topic, and students are asked to write an essay and turn it in for judging. The Voice of Democracy essay contest is the same but for high school students.
