Three Combine for No-Hitter on Senior Night for Red Raider Baseball

On Friday, the Coffee County Red Raider held Senior Night and played Franklin County in the final regular season baseball game. The game was broadcasted The Rooster 101.5

The Raiders got great pitching from Timothy Henderson, Beau Murray, and Nate Rutledge to knock off the Rebels 3-0. Henderson was named the Dr Jay Trussler/Rooster 101.5 Player of the Game. He threw four strong innings, with Murray throwing the fifth and Rutledge the final two as they combined for a no-hitter. Hendeson had 6 strikeouts in the win to help Coffee County improve to 14-15-1 overall.

Blake Hillis had 2 hits and an RBI. Brendon Sheppard added 2 hits and an RBI.

Coffee County senior players: Brady Daugherty, Jayden “Bird” Fellers, Beau Murray, Trey Turner, Timothy Henderson, Brendon Sheppard, Nate Rutledge, and team manager Cody Douglas.

Next up for the Raiders will be the District 9-AAAA tournament beginning this week.
