High-Tech Job Fair at UTSI

A High-Tech Job Fair and a Second to None (2TN) Business and Workforce Innovation Summit, the week of May 6, 2024. On Thursday, May 9th, the High Tech Job Fair will be at the University of Tennessee Space Institute (UTSI). Cutting-edge companies and talented professionals will come together for this hiring event from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm CDT. Openings exist for engineers, skilled crafts electricians, welders, and HVAC, as well as in finance, administration, and contracts.

The 2TN Business and Workforce Innovation Summit will host two days of training. On Wednesday, May 8, at the Gossick Leadership Center from 9:00 am-10:00 am, there will be AEDC Spark Tank Innovation presentations; from 10:00 am-12:00 pm, a How to Do Business with AEDC and Getting Started with Government Contracting sessions; and from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, the MTSU-Small Business Development Center will provide training for entrepreneurs on marketing and finding funding. Coffee and light snacks will be available, and there will also be a food truck at noon.

On Friday, May 10, the community is invited to the Maker Mix and Mingle, which will open at 1:00 p.m. with small business pop-up vendors and crafters. Starting at 4:00 p.m., there will be a cash bar, food to enjoy while shopping, and demonstrations of productivity hacks regarding AI, social media, Canva, and more.

Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
