John Olive Named to Tennessee Coaches Hall of Fame

The Tennessee Football Coaches Association 2023 Hall of Fame inductees were announced on Monday.

The list includes former Tullahoma head football coach John Olive. He went 229-141 in 33 seasons as a coach and 203-126 in 29 seasons at Tullahoma. Olive led the Wildcats to a 15-0 record and the 2021 Class 4A state title.

He retired from coaching following the state championship but remains involved in all sports. Olive is currently serving as the Tullahoma system athletic director.

He is currently the play-by-play voice of the Coffee County Red Raiders (31 years) on The Rooster 101.5 and can be heard M-F broadcasting our local news. Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
