Multi-Vehicle Crashes on Interstate 24 in Coffee County

On Monday, two crashes involving multiple vehicles occurred on Interstate 24 Eastbound in Coffee County. The first occurred around 4 PM near mile marker 125, and the second accident took place at 5 PM while cleanup happened at the first scene at mile marker 119. The roadway was closed while the THP investigated both crashes.

Law enforcement diverted drivers off the interstate at Exit 117 (AEDC exit) to the Hillsboro Highway.

No report has been issued about injuries. On Target News will follow up on this story when the Tennessee Highway Patrol releases information.
