United Way of 55 Thanks to all that helped with Stuff the Bus

On July 14th, United Way of Highway 55 invited the community out to “Stuff the Bus” full of school supplies at Buffalo Wild Wings.  Many businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals attended the event and dropped off a selection of supplies for Tullahoma City Schools.

When we say it takes a village-that’s the truth! Many businesses, churches, organizations, and individuals came together to support this campaign. The goal is to help fill the needs of teachers and students so they can begin the school year confident and prepared. Our community knows how to “Live United” and we thank everyone that contributed!

Volunteers will be delivering school supplies to Robert E. Lee, JT Farrar, East Lincoln, Bel Aire, West Middle, East Middle, THS, and Tullahoma Virtual Academy before school begins. Thank you to Dr. Catherine Henry Stephens, Director of TCS Schools, for organizing the deliveries, bus, and creating a video with “Happy Social Social” to help spread the word. Abraham states, “Dr. Stephens is always a joy to work with. She has a huge passion for our community and schools and has a way of connecting with every individual she encounters. It is truly a gift.” Thank you to Meg Glenn with Happy Go Social for creating a fun marketing video to help spread the word of ‘Stuff the Bus’!

One of Southern Tennessee's most experienced and recognized news broadcasters and play-by-play sportscasters. News and Sports Director for Rooster 101.5 FM, 93.9 The Duck and Whiskey Country 105.1, and 95.9. He is currently the play-by-play voice of the Coffee County Red Raiders (31 years) on The Rooster 101.5 and can be heard M-F broadcasting our local news. Lucky has done play-by-play for 3,993 (and counting) sports events on Radio & TV. He also served four years as the Public Information Officer for the Coffee Co. Sheriff's Dept. and taught Radio/TV for six years at Grundy County High School.
