Warren County law enforcement officials want to advise the public that on Thursday, July 13, 2023, during the mid-morning hours, there will be an active school shooter drill conducted by law enforcement and the 31st Judicial District Mass Casualty Response Team.
This drill will be in and around Covenant School, just off Highway 55 in the Morrison area. Do not be alarmed by the influx of law enforcement and emergency personnel in this area, and please stay clear of the school and surrounding area during this time. Also, the Mass Casualty Response Team will be utilizing another location in the Morrison area as a reunification center, so there will also be law enforcement activity in this area.
Warren County law enforcement leaders strongly feel that conducting this drill will reinforce the training and preparedness of our law enforcement agencies, as well as our medical personnel and the other team members, if there is an actual shooting in the future.
