Coffee County Government has been awarded a $500,000 Food Insecurity Grant. There will be four recipients: Unity Medical Center $254,198, The Storehouse $150,000, The Henry Center $10,000, First Christian Church $9,919, and the South-Central Tennessee Development District $20,000 for grant administration.
$55.883 remains in a contingency account with SCTTDD and will possibly be awarded in some fashion to the existing grantees once monies are dispersed per the current awards and examined again by SCTDD.
