Raiders fall on Homecoming

Coffee County hosted Riverdale for Homecoming 2023 on Friday night at Carden-Jarrell Field in Manchester.

The Warriors scored on three first-quarter touchdowns by Braden Graham and never looked back. Graham finished with 5 TD throws, and Isaiah Verser added two touchdown runs as Riverdale defeated the Raiders 49-0.

Coffee County managed 62 yards on offense to the Warriors’ 339 in the region matchup.

Deonte Short was selected the Rooster 101.5, Giles Dunn Diamond Company Player of the Game for the Red Raiders.

Caden Davis was named the Homecoming King, and Allie Sullivan was announced as the 2023 Queen. The Senior Red Raider Football team members chose Bethany Lambert as the Football Queen.

Coffee County (1-5) will host the Rockvale Rockets (2-4) this coming Friday. Airtime is 6:30 PM, and Kickoff is 7 PM on the Rooster 101.5, www.rooster1015.com, or the Rooster 101.5 app.
