Raiders Split Games on the Road at Columbia on Friday

Coffee County traveled to Columbia on Friday night for District 9-AAAA games.

After falling behind by a couple of points at halftime, the Lady Raiders got its offense rolling in the final two quarters for a 49-37 road win. Coffee County improved to 18-3 overall and 2-0 in district play.

Olivia Vinson led Coffee County with 15 points, and Jules Ferrell added 11. The Lady Raiders got a big boost on offense from sophomore Ella Arnold, who had a career-high 11 points.

 

In the boys’ game, the Columbia Lions led throughout to get a 63-53 win over Coffee County.

With the road loss, The Raiders fall to 10-10 overall and 1-1 in District 9-AAAA play.

After struggling to find his shot on Tuesday, Cooper Reed had an outstanding night for the Raiders with 22 points. Brady Wright and Jackson Shemwell added 8 points each.
