Lady Raider Willow Carden Signs to Play Softball at Vol State

Coffee County Senior Willow Carden, who plays first base for the Lady Raiders, signed to play at Vol State on Thursday afternoon.

During the 2023 season, Carden set a record for RBI in one season with 49 and hit for a .422 average. She also led Coffee County with 46 hits and doubles with nine.

Carden and her Lady Raider teammates will be back on the field soon, looking for a fourth straight trip to the TSSAA Spring Fling. The regular season begins March 7 at Terry Floyd Field versus Cascade.
