The Region 4 golf tournament was held on Monday at Tim’s Ford’s Bear Trace course.
On the boys’ side, Lawrence County qualified for the TSSAA State Tournament with a team score of 303. Other team scores were Cookeville at 308, Tullahoma shot 317, Coffee County scored 327, followed by Stone Memorial at 339, and Upperman carded a 354.
Individual players that qualified for state were Tullahoma’s Alex Miller with a round of 74, Cookeville’s Owen Hill who also shot 74, and Brandt Kardatzke with a 76.
Tullahoma’s other scores were Brody Fulmer and Keegan Taylor at 78 and Cody Finchum’s 87.
The Coffee County Red Raiders were led by Jack Stowe, who shot a 77. Noah Costello recorded a round of 81, Brady Daugherty carded an 84, and Senior Jackson Shemwell finished off the Raider scoring with an 85.
In the Region 4 girls tournament, DeKalb County qualified for the state tournament by beating out Lincoln County 174-175. Coffee County shot 193, followed by Upperman at 194, Franklin County at 197, and Warren County with a score of 206.
Individuals who qualified for the state include Lauren Slatton from Warren County, with the best overall score of 72. Addie Neal from Lincoln County is heading to the state tournament as she shot 84.
Coffee County scores from the region tournament were Araya Hughes with a round of 91, and Leah Kate Sullivan got around the 18 holes in 102 shots.
