Tennessee is looking to repair potholes statewide months after January’s record winter storm.
The Tennessee Department of Transportation is investing $15 million to more than 120 projects across the state.
TDOT has accelerated its Transportation Modernization Act dollars to supplement its repair/maintenance budget. The department said without the funds it wouldn’t be able to do this more permanent work.
Most of the projects will involve milling, which removes the top layer and paves with a layer of fresh asphalt.
