On Friday night in Winchester, the Coffee County Lady Raiders jumped to an early advantage and never trailed Franklin County as they cruised to a 62-23 district win.
Chloe Gannon dominated in the paint as she outscored the Rebelettes by herself. Gannon had 29 points as Franklin County had no answer for the senior. Jalie Ruehling and Olivia Vinson added 8 each.
The Lady Raiders improved to 24-1 and 2-0 in District 6 4-A.

In the boys’ game, the Red Raiders took an 11-10 lead after the 1st quarter and upped the lead to 24-19 at halftime. The game remained close at the end of the 3rd as Coffee County led Franklin County 36-29. The Raiders closed the Rebels out with a 24-point 4th quarter to win 60-48.
Coffee County got 17 points from Cooper Reed, 16 from Deion Subaran, and 11 by Jahlin Osborne to improve the Raiders to 14-5 overall and 2-0 in district play.
