The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Sunday, April 26.
The update adds 478 cases, bringing Tennessee’s total positive cases to 9,667. The number of new cases is the highest single-day increase health officials have reported.
The department also reported three additional deaths to bring the total up to 181.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 4,527 have recovered, which means we currently have 5,140 active cases.

*Coffee County: 0 died: 32 confirmed cases; 9 recovered; 900 negative tests
*Franklin County: 1 died; 29 confirmed; 24 recovered; 772 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 0 recovered; 126 negative tests
*Grundy County: 1 died; 28 confirmed; 20 recovered; 282 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 12 confirmed; 7 recovered; 356 negative tests
*Warren County: 0 died; 5 confirmed; 3 recovered; 512 negative tests
*Rutherford County: 9 died; 405 confirmed; 178 recovered; 3,768 negative tests
