The Tennessee Department of Health has confirmed additional cases of COVID-19 across the state on Saturday, April 25.
The update adds 463 cases, bringing Tennessee’s total positive cases to 9,189. The number of new cases is the highest single-day increase health officials have reported.
The department also reported ten additional deaths to bring the total up to 178.
Out of the confirmed positive cases, 4,467 have recovered, which calculates to 4,722 active cases in Tennessee, an increase of over 600 in the last 3 days.
Tennessee has a total of 141,406 negative cases.

*Coffee County: 0 died: 31 confirmed cases; 9 recovered; 850 negative tests
*Franklin County: 1 died; 29 confirmed; 24 recovered; 725 negative tests
*Moore County: 0 died; 3 confirmed; 0 recovered; 106 negative tests
*Grundy County: 1 died; 28 confirmed; 20 recovered; 270 negative tests
*Lincoln County: 0 died; 12 confirmed; 7 recovered; 320 negative tests
*Warren County: 0 died; 5 confirmed; 3 recovered; 512 negative tests
