Bedford County Courthouse Christmas Tree Lighting took place on Thursday

Shelbyville-Bedford Partnership, Shelbyville-Bedford County Chamber of Commerce, and Bedford County Government hosted a Christmas tree-lighting ceremony on the Bedford County Courthouse grounds on Thursday night, Nov. 30. Saxophonist Roslyn Malone performed, Santa Claus greeted his fans, a penguin handed out candy.

Shane Hooper of Shelbyville-Bedford Partnership, Bedford County Mayor Chad Graham, and State Rep. / Speaker Pro Tem Pat Marsh made remarks. The Coffee Break, Pope’s Café, and the popcorn stand on the square were open to serve the crowd.
