This new cohort more than doubles the original 73 schools from the first trauma-informed schools cohort which launched in 2018-19. The Coffee County School Board met in an emergency session Tuesday night. In a unanimous vote the board decided to remove the mask mandate at all county schools. So, beginning Wednesday (April 28) students and teachers are no longer required to wear a mask at school.
