The Coffee County baseball team won its first game of the season on Monday night, 7-3, against Oakland.
Cole Pippenger had the hot bat for the Raiders, going 2 for 3 with a run-scoring double in the first and an RBI single in the sixth. Blake Hillis and Brendon Sheppard also added RBI singles in the sixth.
Timothy Henderson was the winning pitcher. He allowed 3 runs on 4 hits and struck out 5 Patriot batters.
