After falling behind 2-1 in the bottom of the 5th inning, Coffee County baseball came from behind in the top of the 7th to defeat the home-standing Eagles of Shelbyville 3-2 on Monday night.
In the District 9-AAAA matchup, the Raiders got the go-ahead and winning run when Bird Fellers scored on a wild pitch.
Cole Pippenger had two hits for Coffee County and scored twice. Blake Hillis had the only RBI for the Red Raiders.
Nick Johnson managed a triple and scored both runs for the Golden Eagles.
Timothy Henderson picked up the win for Coffee County. He went the distance and allowed only four hits and one earned run.
The two teams were set to play again on Tuesday in Manchester, but because of incoming weather, the game has been moved to Wednesday at 6:30 PM at Powers Field.
