Coffee County Softball and Baseball Tuesday Action

On Tuesday night, the Coffee County Lady Raiders traveled to Spring Hill for District 9-AAAA softball. For the second time this season, Coffee County defeated Spring Hill, this time 13-0 in 5 innings.

Madison Pruitt had another big game as she went 2-for-4, including a triple and double. She had 4 RBI and scored twice.

Maggie Montgomery and Channah Gannon added another two hits for the winners, who improved to 4-0 on the season.

So far, the Coffee County Lady Raiders have outscored their opponents 57-7. They’ll participate in the Warrior Classic against Mt. Juliet beginning Thursday.

In baseball, Coffee County took on Blackman on Tuesday, and it came down to pitching.

Carter Gregory threw a complete game for the Blaze, only allowing a Cole Pippenger single in the game.

Timothy Henderson pitched for the Red Raiders, giving up only 3 hits in the tough-luck loss.

Coffee County will host Blackman on Wednesday at 6 PM at Powers Field in Manchester.
