Down 4-1 after 3 innings and down 6-3 going into the bottom of the 6th inning, the Coffee County Red Raider baseball pulled off a great comeback to defeat Moore County 7-6 on Thursday night.
The game is part of the Crethan Hansert Classic being played at Powers Field in Manchester.
The come-from-behind big inning was in the bottom of the 6th, as the Red Raiders scored four times. Blake Hillis, Trey Turner, Brady Daugherty, Cole Pippenger, and Colter Neel all had hits in the big inning.
Pippenger and Daugherty had 2 RBI each, and Blake Hillis had a two-hit night for Coffee County.
Davis McKenzie pitched 3 2/3 innings in relief to pick up the win, and Daugherty earned the save.
The Red Raiders improved to 11-13-1 on the season. They will host Central Magnet on Friday at 6 PM.
