On November 28, 2023, Franklin County Investigators, Tennessee Probation and Parole Officers, and Cowan Police Department responded to the residence of John Keith Lawrence, who is on parole.
In his parole certificate, he agreed to a warrantless search of his person, vehicle, property, or residence by any probation/parole officer or law enforcement officer at any time without reasonable suspicion. Lawrence was advised that there would be a search of his home.
As a result of the search, items evidencing the manufacturing, sale, and delivery of Schedule I psychotropic drugs were found. Lawrence was placed under arrest for the criminal offenses of:
-Manufacture, Sell, and Delivery of a Schedule I Drug
-Felonious Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
Lawrence’s court date is February 5, 2024, in Franklin County General Sessions Court. He is currently being held on a $75,000 bond.
