Disturbing: Dog Found in Dumpster in Tullahoma

Tullahoma Animal Control needs your help. Animal control responded to the dumpster behind Badcock Furniture on Friday, where it was reported that a disturbing sound was coming from inside.

Officers located a tightly bound white trash bag inside the dumpster. Inside, they discovered a dog so cold, and oxygen deprived that animal control believed that the dog had passed. As he had more access to air, the little guy revived and was taken to All Creatures Veterinarian Clinic for treatment.

All Creatures provided care and named him Oscar. The Yorkie was shaved due to matting and is receiving medications.

Tullahoma Animal Control has heard from countless individuals wanting to adopt Oscar. While they appreciate the love shown to Oscar, he is currently part of an investigation and can’t be adopted at this time. He will go to a foster for recovery.

If anyone recognizes this dog, please get in contact with Tullahoma Animal Control by email, animalcontrol@tullahomatn.gov. This is currently an active investigation, and any information is greatly appreciated. They are also working with surrounding businesses to view camera footage.
