Entertainer John Hiatt Injured after Falling in South Cumberland State Park

Music entertainer John Hiatt was injured last week after falling at the South Cumberland State Park in Grundy County.

Hiatt has canceled his tour following the incident that has left him with injuries. His team says he sustained lacerations, bruising, and a debilitating fracture.

Hiatt was taken to Erlanger but is now recovering at home under the care of his personal doctor and is expected to make a full recovery. In a Facebook post, Hiatt’s team thanked the amazing efforts of the Grundy County EMS, Rangers of the South Cumberland State Park, doctors, nurses, and staff at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga.
