Grundy County Schools Going Virtual Tuesday and Wednesday

Each semester the state of Tennessee allows school districts the flexibility to provide students instruction virtually for two days. Due to the excessive number of students, faculty, and staff being absent due to illness, virtual instruction will take place for all Grundy County students on Tuesday, February 20, and Wednesday, February 21.

All schools have a plan in place and have conducted virtual drills to prepare. Teachers have also worked to prepare students for virtual days. The district acknowledges that there will be challenges, but teachers will be available to help with unexpected difficulties.

Virtual days count as a regular instructional day and the Grundy County School system will not be required to make up these dates.
