Humble Baron to Celebrate 1st Anniversary

On March 23, 2023, Humble Baron debuted at Nearest Green Distillery, home of Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, winning the GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS title for the Longest Bar in The World.

Conceived by Keith Weaver, former Sony Entertainment Executive and Co-Founder of Uncle Nearest, Humble Baron brings the vibrant spirit of Music City to Tennessee whiskey country. Its stage, crafted by the engineer behind Prince’s Paisley Park, has hosted performances by renowned artists such as Post Malone, Jelly Roll, and Eddie Vedder, as well as up-and-coming talent.

One year in, Humble Baron has established itself as a premier venue for live music, craft cocktails, and elevated cuisine and is a destination where everyone has a seat at the sprawling 518-foot bar.

What + When: To mark its one-year anniversary, Humble Baron will host a celebratory weekend featuring live performances by Grammy-nominated artists The War & Treaty and Nappy Roots, along with a Global Cocktail Takeover and additional festivities from Thursday, March 21 to Sunday, March 24. The full schedule of events is as follows: 

• Thursday, March 21:
  • 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM: Humble Baron is set to ignite the festivities with its debut Thursday Theme Night, offering an unforgettable evening of Country Line Dancing with the renowned DJ Geoffrey Dotson,
  • The World’s Longest Bar will debut the Humble Baron Anniversary Menu, featuring ‘The Baron’s Special’ – an elevated Smash Burger with Uncle Nearest Sauce and a signature cocktail, along with smoked wings and short rib tacos. This special menu from Executive Chef and the new Host of Aspire TV’s ‘Twisted Dish’ culinary show, Jay Craddick will be available Thursday through Sunday.

  • Starting at 7:30 PM: The Grammy-nominated Country duo, The War & Treaty, renowned for their electrifying performances headlining for legends like Al Green, John Legend, and Van Morrison, will command the state-of-the-art stage at Humble Baron.

• Saturday, March 23:
  • 2:30 PM – 7:30 PM: Enjoy cocktails from some of the world’s best mixologists at the Global Cocktail Takeover! Renowned bartenders from around the world will showcase their own signature cocktails, each using Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey, for one night only, exclusively at the Longest Bar in the World.
    • 🇺🇸: Taking the stage from their home turf is Humble Baron’s Director of Beverage, DeAndre Jackson, the esteemed champion of the 2021 Uncle Nearest ‘Honor Your Legacy’ Competition, along with Akinde Olagundoye. Adding to their ranks is USA’s Kate Gerwin, Owner of Happy Accidents Bar & Distillery, who is renowned for her appearances on Netflix’s acclaimed series “Drink Masters”.
    • 🇬🇧: Elevating London’s Donovan Bar onto the global stage are two exceptional talents: Federico Pavan, the Director of Mixology and revered London Spirit Competition Judge, and Christina Pirinu, the acclaimed Bar Supervisor and recipient of the prestigious Front of House Star of the Year award at the 2023 Class Bar Awards.

  • 9PM – 12 AM: Following the headlining performance, the dynamic sounds of C-Wizz & Darryl Jaye will take center stage, keeping the energy high with a mix of tunes spinning throughout the night.

• Sunday, March 24th
  • 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM: Honoring the soul of the Humble Baron and shining a light on exceptional local talent, Sunday invites you to experience a Gospel Brunch. Renowned worship leader Kai A. Pineda will put on a captivating gospel performance, sure to uplift and inspire guests. Indulge in a delicious brunch buffet boasting delights such as made-to-order omelets, delectable waffles, savory carved meats, and more!
  • 3:00 PM – Close: Following brunch, Humble Baron’s Anniversary Menu and signature libations will be available until close.
