More Independence Day Celebrations

An Independence Day celebration and fundraiser will be held Saturday from 3-8 p.m. at the VFW Post 1893 in Estill Springs. The music starts at 3 p.m. and a fireworks show at dark.

In Fayetteville, the celebration will be held at Don Davidson Park, 1701 Wilson Pkwy., on Saturday from 3 p.m. to dusk, with the fireworks show set to begin at dusk.

The Decherd Independence Day celebration will be held Saturday starting at 6 p.m. at the Decherd Babe Ruth field, 117 College St. Enjoy food, family fun, and more. Bring lawn chairs.

A free fireworks show, “Thunder over the Lake,” will be held on Tuesday starting at dark at Twin Creeks Marina.
