TULLAHOMA – Emily Elaine Mears Jackson, lovingly known as “Amy” and “Mom Mom”, of Tullahoma passed away peacefully in Murfreesboro on Wednesday September 3rd, 2020 at the age of 60. She is survived by her mother Winn Mears, sister Kay Taylor of Manchester, sister Robin Willis and brothers Brian Mears and Matthew Mears, all of Hillsboro, sister Maryann Dugan of Evansville, IN, husband Scott Jackson of Tullahoma, daughter Stephanie Carlton and son-in-law Matthew Carlton of Tullahoma, daughter April Conway and son-in-law Jason Conway of Cumming, GA, son Daniel Jackson and daughter-in-law Kristin Jackson of Murfreesboro, grandchildren Catherine Bailey, Erica Bailey, Sam Woolery, Annie Conway, Caroline Jackson, Emmie Jackson, and Violet Jackson, and countless other friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father Robert Elton Mears of Manchester and her brother Robert Elton Mears, Jr of Hillsboro.
Emily was a beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, friend, aunt and grandmother who impacted countless lives during her years as a Registered Nurse at Harton Hospital and Autumn Oaks Assisted Living. Her biggest impact was on the loving family she leaves behind.
The family invites you to join them in celebrating Emily’s incredible life with a visitation at Tullahoma Funeral Home onTuesday, September 8, 2020, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 and funeral on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at 1:00 PM with burial to follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
