The difficult schedule continued Friday night for the Coffee County Red Raiders as they traveled to Siegel for region play to take on the undefeated Stars.
Siegel quarterback Thomas Santel, known to Stars fans as “Tommy Football,” connected on 11-of-18 passes for 183 yards and 2 touchdowns. He also had a 21-yard touchdown.
Despite the three scores, the Red Raider defense played well against a team that came in averaging 51 points per game.
Tailback Caiden Martin carried the ball 22 times for 70 yards, and he caught 4 passes. Martin is the Red Raider punter. He also plays defensive back, where he made multiple tackles in the game, and he even lined up a few times at quarterback against Siegel. Martin was named the Rooster 101.5.
