Robertson named interim head coach at MTCS

Middle Tennessee Christian School has announced B.J. Robertson will serve as interim head coach for football in the 2020 season. He will take the reins as former coach Fred Shambaugh resigned to take a position in Texas.

Coach Robertson is a graduate of Bethel University where he played quarterback from ’09-’13. He then worked for three seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater Huntland High School, before joining the Cougar coaching staff in 2017. Coach Robertson was promoted to offensive coordinator for the 2019 season. He has also served as an assistant on the MTCS high school basketball team for three seasons.
