Shelbyville Citizen Finds Skeletal Remains; Investigation Ongoing

On Saturday, November 25th, 2023, at approximately 4:00 PM, the Shelbyville Police Department received a report from a citizen regarding human skeletal remains found in the area of Blue Ribbon Parkway and Shoma Drive.

Upon arrival, the officers confirmed the remains were human because they were wearing clothing and were fully intact.

The deceased’s remains were transferred to the medical examiner’s office for additional examination and identification. The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is assisting with this ongoing investigation.
