Three Area Schools Hit the Links on Tuesday

Coffee, Franklin, and Lincoln counties competed in a 3-way golf match on Tuesday at the Bear Trace at Tims Ford State Park.

In boys’ play, the Coffee County Red Raiders picked up two wins by shooting the low score of 171. The Franklin County Rebels were just one shot behind with a 173, and the Falcons of Lincoln County carded a 202.

In individual play, Coffee County was led by Noah Costello with a 9-hole round of 40 followed by Brady Daugherty’s 42, Breyton Anderson shot 44, and Jack Stowe scored a 45. Jackson Lynch from Franklin County had the overall low round of 39. His teammates followed scores from Chase Towry at 41, Garrett Patterson 44, and Evan Lynch 48. Lincoln County’s low score came from Cason Sanchez with a 46. Eli Ray shot 49, Cole Schneid 53, and Dylan Gentry carded 54.

The Lincoln County Lady Falcons had the low score on the day with a 92. Addie Neal shot 40, and Amie Neal 52. The Coffee County Lady Raiders shot 96. Araya Hughes, 44, and Leah Kate Sullivan, 52. Franklin County’s Rebelettes shot 105. Amelia Maxon, 44, and Savannah Pendergraff, 61.
