It’s time for the Polar Plunge at Tims Ford. Take an icy dip in the lake this Saturday at 10 am. to support Tims Ford State Park! Registration will include an embroidered Tims Ford State Park beach towel and a certificate of completion after their plunge! Hot chocolate will also be provided!
Participants will run/walk into Tims Ford Lake from the bottom of the boat ramp by Lakeview Marina inside the park. You are not required to go all the way in, but we encourage you if you want to get the whole polar plunge experience!
Participants are required to wear a lifejacket. They will have several available to use but feel free to bring your own!
All proceeds from this event will go to the Friends of Tims Ford State Park. A non-profit 501(c)(3) volunteer organization that collaborates with Tims Ford State Park. This non-profit continually helps to improve visitors’ experiences through volunteer and financial assistance.
