Despite many companies still having several openings, nearly every county in Tennessee experienced lower unemployment in July. The Department of Labor and Workforce Development says Eighty-nine out of the state’s 95 counties saw their jobless numbers decrease during the month.
Unemployment increased slightly in five counties and remained the same in one.
Bedford County fell from 4.3 % in June to 4.1% in July
Coffee County dropped from 4.2 to 3.9%
Franklin County down from 4.3% in June to 4% in July
Grundy County went from 5.9 to 5.7%
Lincoln County fell from 4.1% to 3.7
Moore County dropped from 3.3% in June to 2.9 % in July
Warren County went down slightly from 5.4% to 5.3
