Rockies-13White Sox-0Highlights: Gavin Elmore goes a perfect 4-4 with a big fly to center, two doubles, and five RBI’s for the Rockies. Reed Emerson was in cruise control on the mound as he limits the White Sox to just four hits on the day while striking out four. Rippy takes the loss on the mound for the White Sox as they drop their first game of the season, and the Rockies find their way back into the win column.
Royals-4Cubs-4Highlights: Josh Nave led all players with three hits in four at-bats for the Royals. Satterfield tagged two extra base hits on the evening as well. The Cubs were led at the plate by Will Warner and Luke Davidson who each tallied two hits in the game. The Royals outhit the Cubs 12 to 6, despite both teams finishing all knotted up at 4.
Reds-9Blue Jays-5Highlights: Grey Alexander went the whole six innings, striking out five on the mound for the Reds as they pulled away late. Matthew Wright led the way at the plate for the Reds, grabbing three hits and driving in a couple runs. Begora and Snow each had two base hits for the Blue Jays. The game was tied going into the sixth when the Reds plated four runs to seal the win.
