The South Cumberland State Park in Grundy County has announced that Grundy Lakes one-way road and the Lone Road Trail in Tracy City will be closed to the public beginning January 8th until further notice.
The state is conducting required work on the dam during this time. Due to heavy machinery use, they would not be allowing any kind of public access.
The beach area and restrooms will remain open to the public.
