Mother and Son Arrested after Home Invasion in Manchester

Saturday afternoon around 4:30 p.m. Manchester Police received a call about a home invasion on Rigney Drive. A male subject, later identified as Coty Ledbetter allegedly kicked in a door at the residence.

A subject in the home was shot 3 times, which turned out to be a BB gun.

A witness was able to give a description of the suspect and gave a tag number.

Law enforcement was able to stop the vehicle and arrest Ledbetter and the driver Virginia Ledbetter, which is Coty’s mother.

Manchester Police Investigator Jamie Norris obtained warrants for the Ledbetters. Coty was charged with 2 counts of aggravated robbery and was booked in at the Coffee County Jail under a $100,000 bond. Virginia was charged with one count and booked under a $25,000 bond.
