The Executive Board of the Warren Co. A&L Fair made the tough decision Monday night to cancel the fair for 2020. Leaders said they just don’t have the funds to meet the liability for the state guidelines to proceed with the fair in September, any litigation claims would not be paid by the insurance company.
With Gov. Lee’s executive order 50 in place thru August 29 it has made it impossible to comply with the current state guidelines to ensure a safe experience for attendees and to have the best fair possible.
This is the first time in history that the Warren Co. A&L Fair has been cancelled since it began in 1954.
