Tullahoma High School placed on ‘Soft Lockdown’ Thursday Morning

At approximately 9:45 Thursday morning, Tullahoma High School (THS) went on a soft lockdown. The lockdown was called to facilitate a sweep of the building by THS administration and Tullahoma Police. The search was determined necessary after receiving anonymous information concerning a potential threat to the school. Nothing unusual was found as a result of the search. THS went back on regular schedule about 2 hours later.
In a statement from the school they said, “As always, the THS staff holds student safety as our number one priority.”
If anyone has comments or questions concerning this issue, please contact one of the 3 assistant principals by phone or by email.
You might remember that last week that 3 students at Tullahoma High School received disciplinary action after they admitted to creating the “hit list” found in a student desk.
