Black Bear Dies after Vehicle Collision

We have another black bear story, but this one did not end well. A black bear died after being struck by a vehicle in Bedford County on Friday.

The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) said an officer was called to the scene by the Bedford County Sheriff’s Office just after 11 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 10.

Authorities believe this is the same bear spotted in Bedford County earlier this year. The bear weighed over 300 pounds.
