Coffee County and Lincoln County move into Region Volleyball as Lady Falcons take District Title

The District 6-AAA volleyball tournament was held on Thursday in Fayetteville at Lincoln County High School.

In a semi-final match between Coffee County and Warren County it took all 5 sets for the Lady Raiders to get past the Lady Pioneers 25-19, 19-25, 21-25, 25-16 and 15-10.

Coffee County’s Zowee Dillard had a big night with 15 kills. Anna Johnson had a nice game serving the ball with 6 aces.

The win set up the championship match between the Lady Raiders and the Lady Falcons of Lincoln County.

Lincoln County won the District 6-AAA title with a 3-0 sets win, 25-12, 25-16 and 25-23.

Both teams will compete in the Region 3-AAA tournament on Tuesday at Lincoln County as the Lady Raiders take on the Cleveland Blue Raiders at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Lady Falcons will host Bradley Central with the winners meeting in the finals.
