Coffee County Baseball team dominates Columbia Central in first game of the season

Coffee County Central Red Raiders two pitchers didn’t allow a single hit from the mound, as Coffee County Central Red Raiders Varsity decimated Columbia Central 6-0 on Monday. 

Braden Brown struck out Luke Uselton to get the last out of the game. Coffee County Central Red Raiders Varsity fired up the offense in the second inning, when Hayden Hullett blasted a double on a 0-1 count, scoring one run. Hayden Hullett earned Crazy Daisies Player of the Game.

Jacob Holder earned the win for Coffee County Central Red Raiders Varsity. The Righty surrendered zero runs on zero hits over six innings, striking out nine. Brown threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. 

Uselton took the loss for Columbia Central. The pitcher surrendered four runs on three hits over three innings, striking out one. The Red Raiders return to action on Tuesday hosting Columbia Central for their home opener. First pitch set for 4:30pm. The Lady Raiders Softball team takes on Columbia Central in their home opener as well.
