The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation over the past several months has been bringing back cold cases into the news. This week they feature a cold case in Coffee County.
Patricia Collins, known by those who loved her as Pat, was a 73 year-old widow that was killed about 2 miles outside the Manchester city limits in her home on Powers Bridge Road on October 17, 2013. Despite the ongoing investigation through the years, her killer remains at large.
At the time of the incident, then Sheriff Steve Graves announced that Collins had died because of strangulation and multiple blunt force traumas to the head.
The TBI and local authorities continue to work this unsolved murder case. Agents believe someone still has information they need to solve this case and give Patricia’s family some relief.
