Coffee County baseball defeated Shelbyville 4-1 on Thursday to become Co-District 6-4A champions with Franklin County. Both teams finished 8-4 in district play.
Aiden Robertson got the win for the Red Raiders. Robertson went the distance, allowing five hits and one run while striking out ten.
Marquis Wilson started the game for the Golden Eagles. The righthander went four and a third innings, allowing two runs, two hits and striking out two.
Cole Pippenger led the Coffee County at the plate with two hits, an RBI and he scored twice.
The Running Raiders stole five bases giving them 87 on the season. Caleb Moran added two more to his team leading 20.
Carston Williams went 3-for-3 at the dish to lead Shelbyville.
