Coffee County Election Results

Former President Donald Trump and President Joe Biden each won their party’s presidential primaries in Tennessee and in Coffee County as both are continuing their march toward the nomination. The state is heavily Republican-leaning and is not likely to receive much attention from Biden’s campaign in the general election.

In Coffee County’s only countywide contested race, Elissa Keele Fletcher was elected Property Assessor with an unofficial result of 3,196 votes, followed by Jenna Amacher with 1,300 and William Goldston with 1,240.

In other contested races: County Commissioner District 2 Roger Chambers won with 221 votes to Lee Sullivan’s 140 and Benton Brown collected 103 votes. Coffee County School Board Seat 1 (District 1,3,4) Holly Matthews (656) defeated incumbent Gary Nester (533) and Sherry Petty (436).

For Tullahoma School Board three candidates were selected, Kim Uselton 1,771 votes, J. Patrick Welsh 1,695, and Broc Compton with 1,121. The other candidate, Fanchyon Miller, received 856.

In the other Tullahoma School Board race, Rosie Graham defeated Beth Harrison 1,465 to 800.
